Profile Editions began life over 20 years ago as fine art publishing house Third Millennium.
We soon found our niche publishing custom histories and formed partnerships with top educators. The natural next step was to expand internationally and we embarked on a global publishing programme from the US to Australia.
In 2015 we became a specialist division of award-winning independent publisher Profile Books, whose authors include Mary Beard, Alan Bennett, Simon Jenkins and Atul Gawande. Today we sit alongside their thriving imprints Economist Books, Serpent’s Tail and Wellcome Collection.
Since our acquisition, we’ve expanded to publishing custom arts, heritage and company histories. In 2018 we changed our name to Profile Editions to reflect this merger of strengths. Our 20 years’ experience as a respected partnership publisher and Profile’s industry knowledge and expertise make us the publisher of choice for custom books.
