St Peter's School

St Peter's School can trace its association with the city of York for well over a millennium to a time when York was famous as Europe's foremost centre of learning and scholarship. Over Ancient Ways tells the illustrated story not only of the ancient traditions of the school but also of the eventful century of school life on the present campus. The many memories, anecdotes and human interest stories from past and current Peterites, staff, governors and parents, interweaved with both archive and contemporary images, result in a richly illustrated book, which is a true portrait of the many different facets of St Peter's School, York.
