The book will provide a richly illustrated historical portrait of Sutton Valence School commissioned to mark its 450th anniversary. The story will be presented through a series of thematic chapter sections and sub-chapters, which collectively aim to uncover the history of the school and the experience of Suttonians through the ages in an accessible and engaging way. Written as a collaboration between an Old Suttonian and a professional author, the book regales stories of headmasters of yesteryear as they have shaped the School into what it is today. It explores the changes to the site, staff and curriculum as the School has expanded from its village school roots into its current form, as a leading, co-educational establishment of over 850 pupils.
